Community guidelines
Applies to communities, messages, reviews and any image you post in Achievements for XBOX.
Achievements for XBOX exists so Xbox players can track what they have unlocked, see who is playing, and find people to play with. Everything below follows from that.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, or targeting someone because of who they are — race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or nationality.
- Sexual content, nudity, or anything involving minors.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm.
- Spam, scams, phishing, or advertising unrelated products.
- Selling, buying or sharing Xbox accounts, or trading account credentials.
- Cheating tools, modified saves, achievement-unlock services, piracy, or links to any of those.
- Posting someone else's personal information.
- Impersonating another player, a moderator, or Microsoft.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may remove content, remove you from a community, or block your access to community features entirely. Serious cases are actioned immediately and without warning.
A block of that kind applies to community messages: it stops you posting in any community. Game reviews are moderated one at a time — a review that breaks these rules is removed, and being blocked from communities does not stop you reviewing games. Nothing we do here touches your Xbox account, which belongs to Microsoft and which we cannot suspend.
Reporting
Every message has a Report action — long-press it and choose Report. Game reviews are reported the same way: long-press the review. A whole community can be reported from its own screen. Reports go to moderators, who can remove the message or review, and, for community messages, block the author from posting. You can also email xbox@indiesoftware.com.ar.
Blocking
Community owners control membership, and invite-only communities let you keep a space closed. Leaving a community stops all of its content and notifications reaching you.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. Community messages cannot be deleted one by one — they are removed automatically about 30 days after they are posted, a moderator can remove one sooner, and deleting your data removes everything you have posted at once.
When a moderator removes a message, its stored image goes with it, and anywhere it was quoted the quote is blanked out — the reply that quoted it stays, because it belongs to somebody else.
